NEW PAIN ISSUES AND HELP WITH CHIROPRACTIC

As stated by the American Chiropractic Association, our Ashburn and Herndon chiropractic patients are not alone! Chiropractic patients across the country are telling of some new pain issues with their neck, shoulders, and upper back throughout COVID experience, particularly patients who wear masks for long hours. Certainly, stress is a contributor to pain in normal life. In these times, it’s no wonder that patients are describing more pain. Masks may well add to pain in the neck, shoulders, and upper back. Masks may impact vision. If a mask sits too high, the wearer may tuck the chin to see more clearly or hold the neck in a different way to see more clearly. A better fitting mask may help. More frequent breaks may help. Stretching more often may help. A walk to de-stress is a terrific idea! (5) Your Ashburn and Herndon chiropractor knows these issues and is ready to help!
